Growing plants indoors by using the hydroponics growing method

Growing plants indoors by using the hydroponics growing method.

Growing plants indoors by the use of hydroponics has many advantages one of the most important features is the control of ambient conditions allowing the grower to receive a larger than usual plant yield.

Let us for a moment discuss the topic of Hydroponics or indoor gardening. Hydroponics is the name given for a variety of techniques for growing high yielding plants with or without soil or through the use of various mediums as well as lighting conditions. However, while some of the customers at Hydro Terra prefer to use soil it was realized by leading botanist that plant metabolize their nutrients as simple inorganic ions, and that soil, while a great natural source of nutrients was not essential for optimum growth. While plants nutrients come from the soil, the only nutrients a plant can successfully absorb are those that dissolve into the plant’s water supply. Through the use of hydroponic nutrients the grower can introduce into the plants water the required nutrients thus, no longer requiring soil for the plant to thrive.

Needless to say, nutrients play an important role for hydroponic indoor gardening. It’s about creating and maintaining a nutrient solution that is perfectly balanced for your plants. Other important factors include temperature, humidity, lighting, Co2 and dissolved oxygen. Remember, the more knowledgeable a grower you are the more successful your yields will be.
